1. The 28th Global Seismology Observation Course has started

On Global Seismological Observation Course has started from January 9.

This year, 9 participants from 6 countries (Democratic Republic of the Congo(1), Egypt(2), Kazakhstan(2), Nepal(2), Thailand(1), Timor-Leste(1)) join this course.

2. Visit to Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (January 16th)

Thirteen participants visited the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) on January 16th.

3. IISEE Seminar Presentation by Dr. Inoue

In the IISEE seminar held on February 7 and 8, Dr. Hiroshi Inoue (Visiting Researcher of the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience, Visiting Research Fellow of the IISEE, and Part-time Researcher of the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University) gave a presentation entitled “Earthquake Observation Projects I have been involved in: Their challenges and future.

4. Training for Visiting Officials of the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG)

Thirteen staff from the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) visited the BRI on Thursday, December 21.

5. (Short Report) International Friendship Party
