The five days’ study trip to Miyagi and Niigata Prefectures is full of unique,
unforgettable experiences.

The JICA and BRI-IISEE organized a 5-day Study Trip last November 5-9, 2018,
for the participants of the Seismology and Earthquake Engineering course to visit two
prefectures, the Miyagi and Niigata who suffered two catastrophic disasters, tsunami
and an earthquake.

2. Professional lectures on disaster management policy

As One-Year Training Course held at the International Institute of Seismology and
Earthquake Engineering (IISEE) is cooperating with the National Graduate Institute
for Policy Studies (GRIPS), it is possible to obtain a master’s degree.
